This fall we have talked about the soul and is the brain separate from consciousness?, with support from near death experiences and reincarnation. We will continue along this vein, incorporating the Buddhist tradition teachings.
In the past we have discussed stories from the Old and New Testament, Islam, Revelations, UU World articles, PBS's Faith and Reason and also Question of God, and similar discussions.
The seminar starts at 9:15am promptly in the Nichols Library and ends at 10:15; there is coffee and snacks as well as childcare. It is for youth and adults.
Coming soon - a description of Wednesday Nights for Everyone Four evenings, given several times each year This course includes an overview of the history of the Unitarian Universalist faith, a discussion of the Seven Principles that underlie our faith, the six Sources upon which our living tradition depends, a brief history of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, and ways you can participate in our church today. |
