Mark your calendars for the evening of Saturday April 5, 2008.

Our Annual Auction. will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, staring at 6:30 p.m. . for preview and refreshments.

This year's UUCM Auction will be a fun night, with the theme being a flashback to the 60's and the "Summer of Love". The Auction of Love. is sure to be a groovy time, with great food, drinks, music of the 60's PLUS GREAT AUCTION ITEMS!

Items will include a large number of shared experiences offered by our community members, including

• weeks or weekends at vacation homes,
• several kinds of special theme dinners,
• lessons in languages and gardening and other skills,
• sailing and kayaking trips,
• guided tours around the North Shore and into Boston,
• massages,
• cinema nights,
• a Ferrari excursion,

and many other ways we can do fun and important things with and for one another.

Bring your calendars to the Auction. You can arrange a rich and full social life just with the events and experiences offered on this night alone. Besides all of the ideas just noted, we also have great seats to

• the Red Sox,
• the Celtics, and
• the Bruins,
• Museum passes
• and so much more!

And new this year. try your luck at the "Spinning Wheel of prizes". This will replace the Silent Auction of previous years.

Or take a chance from the Lucky 52 Raffle.. A Lucky 52. playing card will be drawn just prior to the live auction. The winner will get to choose, as their prize, ANY item that is up for bid in the live auction. Each card is $25, and only 52 are available. You must be present (or designate someone to select for you) the night of the auction to win.

We will have the Auction Booklet available for preview at church on Sunday, March 30th.
