Purpose: Guide the practice of shared ministry of the church and oversee the well-being of the church community in close consultation and meetings with the minister[s].

The Committee:

• Strengthens the quality of ministry, both in and of the congregation, by providing feedback to and support to the Minister[s] and assisting members and leaders in their work and relationships.
• Proactively identifies areas of Church life to be worked on, evaluates concerns and seeks to address conflicts and differences with a goal of reconciliation
• Periodically assesses the effectiveness of the congregation’s shared ministry
• Promotes awareness of the congregation’s mission and responsibilities
• Addresses areas of Church ministry at the request of the Board of Trustees

Members:

• Serve staggered three-year terms;
• Must be active as members of the Church for at least three years;
• Are invited by the Minister, and confirmed by the Board.
