Communications Committee

Purpose: To coordinate all the communications inside and outside the congregation.
Duties:
- Publish or provide support for publishing PR type information to the larger community.
- Foster an environment of communication within the congregation and an understanding of the
- inter-relationship between all the church groups.
- Publish and maintain the Guidelines for Communication Vehicles.
- Publish and maintain the Committees and Task Forces descriptions.
- Approve and implement design changes to the web site.
- Update information on the web site, other than the Newsletter, Calendar, and Highlights.
- Identify the best vehicles for communication, including new ones and new processes.
- Allocate and supervise the use of communication vehicles in the church, e.g., bulletin boards, information tables, and racks.
