Purpose: To raise the most significant part of the church’s annual operating budget through a spring pledge drive for individual pledges of support.

Duties:

• Educate the congregation about pledging and the budget needs for the next year through member testimonials, open forums, and other means
• Develop pledge materials and distribute the information to the members and friends
• Coordinate with the finance committee the budget for the year
• Hold events during the year and the drive to encourage the successful pledge drive
• Work with the minister to coordinate EMC fund raising events
• Solicit new members and friends during the year.
