Purpose: To oversee the finances of the church, including both the operating and permanent funds of the church and make budget and other fiscal recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

Duties:

• Prepare, in conjuction with the Committees the annual budget for the Board of Trustees for the Annual Meeting
• Meet monthly to review the church finances, including cash flow, lines of credit and major anticipated expenditures
• Review and recommend proposed off-budget expenditures to the Board of Trustees
• Periodically review the invested funds of the church semi-annually to insure they are prudently managed
• Alert the Board of Trustees to significant financial problems or major changes in income.
