Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead

When one of our members shared her experiences with the congregation about her experiences in Guatemala an enthusiastic travel team evolved. Time was spent at a Children’s Home: www.elamordepatricia.org.  UUCM, including the children in the religious exploration program, raised funds for the Bunk Bed Project, and 10 beds were delivered to families in the remote village of Yalu. The team also spent time at Long Way Home: www.lwhome.org – a unique  school where everything is made of recycled materials. The next year, a UUCM Youth Team shared a never to be forgotten Guatemala experience, and when it is safe to travel again, UUCM members are eager to do so.
