Sometimes we carry the joys, sorrows, and concerns quietly to ourselves. And sometimes, we want to reach out for support.
Pastoral Care Associates
Pastoral Care Associates (PCAs), a ministerial committee, are UUCM members who provide care to congregants who need support. We provide meals, visits, supportive telephone calls, send out greeting cards and offer rides to appointments to members who are ill, in the hospital, or recovering from a situation at home. We provide a listening ear to those who need spiritual support and friendship. We meet monthly to check in with each other and review who in our congregation may be in need.

PCAs conduct the Candle Lighting during the Sunday service for those who wish to acknowledge a joy or concern.
Each month the PCAs host a potluck for members and friends in the community to encourage fellowship. In the warmer months we meet on the patio for a “brown bag” dinner and conversation.
