Sermon: DEIr in the Headlights?

The new administration in Washington appears to have declared war on government and private sector efforts to be fair to employees, students and teachers from marginalized backgrounds, a practice called DEI, for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Many sectors in American society have been making great efforts to balance their workforces. What is to become of these efforts. Is this what White (and male and straight and abled and cisgendered etc.) Supremacy looks like. How are UUs to respond, given that we have explicitly pursued DEI in our congregations as well as in society?
